Covid Provedures
To Examinees and Affected Parties,
I hope this letter finds you in good health. While many things have changed in the last few months, two things have remained the same: My unwavering commitment to the whole truth and the whole person.
I would like to tell you about the Infection Control Procedures I put in place to ensure your visit to the polygraph suite is safe and comfortable. My office follows infection control recommendations made by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). As an active and involved member in the American Polygraph Association (APA), National Polygraph Association (NPA), American Association of Police Polygraphists (AAPP), and the California Association of Polygraph Examiners (CAPE), I am committed to staying up-to-date on any rulings or guidance that may be issued. As the medical profession leads the way in infection control recommendations, DO Polygraph, Inc. is committed to adhere to the most current and stringent procedures in the polygraph industry.
You will see several changes in procedure when it is time for your polygraph appointment, including the following:
You will be asked medical screening questions at the time of scheduling and at your appointment.
You will be required to wear a face mask during the entirety of your appointment. The examiner will have disposable face masks on hand in the event that you are unable to locate yours.
The examiner will have hand sanitizer you will be asked to use when you enter the polygraph suite. Additional sanitizer will be made available for your use as needed.
Your temperature will be taken using a non-contact infrared thermometer when you enter the polygraph suite. Your examination will be postponed if your temperature exceeds 100.0 degrees Fahrenheit.
Social distancing (6 feet minimum) will be standard for all phases of the examination. A safety partition will be between you and the examiner to ensure social distancing during the polygraph testing phase.
All physiological data collection sensors will be sterilized before each testing phase to ensure your safety.
An air purifier will be running at all times.
The polygraph examiner will be wearing a face covering at all times. Additional disposable personal protective equipment is utilized by the examiner to ensure your security.
I look forward to seeing you and am happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps I am taking to keep you, and every examinee, safe in the polygraph suite.
